About the job - Economist

The Centre for International Economics (CIE) is a boutique economic research firm that provides independent, quantitative, evidence-based advice to support practical decision-making. We work across all sectors of the economy for a diverse range of government and non-government clients.

We are looking for economists with 2-5 years' experience who have a passion for economics and using cutting edge quantitative tools to help solve problems for roles in Canberra and Sydney.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include economic analysis, research, report writing, spreadsheet and other modelling, stakeholder consultation, and working positively and collaboratively with clients. You should expect to work across a wide range of topic areas reflecting the diverse work program across our Sydney and Canberra offices.

Qualifications

Candidates must have excellent academic qualifications in Economics to at least the Honours level, and short-listed applicants will be required to provide an academic transcript.

Candidates must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, and the nature/seniority of the role will reflect your relevant experience.
