Women in Economics Annual General Meeting 2025 - ONLINE ONLY

The National WEN Committee will hold its AGM on 21 November 2025 from 12.00pm-1.30pm (AEDT) via Zoom, and invites all WEN Members to register via the link below.

The meeting is an opportunity to celebrate another busy year across WEN Branches and nationally, and we are excited that Danielle Wood, Chair of the Productivity Commission, will join us to provide her insights on the economic challenges facing Australia.

We will also be looking to fill a number of positions on the WEN National Executive at the meeting, including:

1. Chair (currently held by Dr Angela Jackson, retiring)
2. Deputy Chair Industry & Policy (currently held by Kar Mei Tang)
3. Deputy Chair Academic (currently held by Associate Professor Duygu Yengin)
4. Treasurer (currently held by Jyothi Gali)
5. Secretary (currently held by Bianca Ayling)

If you have any interest in nominating for one of the positions, you can contact National Chair Dr Angela Jackson to discuss further and receive a nomination form.  All nominees need to be financial members, and be nominated by two other current members.
