WEN: Where a career in economics can take you!

Interested to learn more about where a career in economics can take you?

Join us at ANU or online on 27 March from 5:30pm for a panel discussion from 6-7pm with

• Steph Gorecki-Natik (Assistant Secretary, Commonwealth Treasury), Linda McGrath (Division Head, Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water), Louisa Russell (Adviser, PM&C) and Ro McCrossin (Assistant Director, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade)
• chaired by Jessica Stone (ACT WEN).

This is a free, in person or online event. Registration is required. 

The panel will share their reflections on life as an economist and insights on what agencies are looking for in strong graduate applications.

For those attending in person, food and drinks will be provided afterwards and there will be time for you to ask questions.

For those attending online, you can listen in and send in your questions to be answered. The link will be sent prior to the day of the event.

Students of all genders and backgrounds, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, are welcome to participate.

Membership of WEN and the Economic Society of Australia is not required (but encouraged!). A Young Economist membership is only $20. Apply here.
