Credible Economist Writing Competition: Winners Announcement
This year, WEN hosted another round of the annual Credible Economist Writing Competition. The competition aims to empower female voices in economics and is part of the Credible Economist blog series.
Join us for this final event as we celebrate the winners of the competition. The judges will share key tips on effective writing in economics and provide generalised feedback on the articles submitted. They will also announce the winners and explain the selection process.

Time: 12:00PM – 12:45PM AEDT
Location: Online via Zoom. A Zoom link will be emailed to you 24 hours prior to the event.
Cost: Free of charge for WEN members, $10 for non-members.

Dr Leonora Risse is an economist who specialises in gender equality. She is a Research Fellow with the Women’s Leadership Institute Australia and an Expert Panel Member on gender pay equity for the Fair Work Commission. Leonora is a co-founder and former National Chair of the Women in Economics Network (WEN) in Australia. |

Dr Duygu Yengin is an Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide. She is a theoretical microeconomist specialized in social choice and welfare, coalitional game theory, axiomatic fair allocation, fair mechanism design. |
