As part of our new WEN with Wine series, we are pleased to invite you to hear from from Gabriela D’Souza, Senior Economist at CEDA, to talk about CEDA’s research on skilled migration. The newly released report (available here) has found that nearly a quarter of permanent skilled migrants in Australia are working in a job beneath their skill level. Join Gabriela to hear about the results of the research, the recommendations for change and the important role of migration as Australia recovers from recession.
Gabriela D’Souza joined CEDA as Senior Economist in 2018 with 8 years of experience in public policy. She has worked at some of Australia's most well-known and respected public policy think tanks and economics research centres.
