The Women in Economics Network is inviting all students and teachers to join us for our "Pathways in Economics" event, where students can hear from real-world economists, participate in interactive learning activities, and find out more about the exciting range of career paths that economics offers.
The event will be well suited to secondary students from Years 10 to 12. Students do not need to be studying economics. In fact, students who have never studied economics before are especially encouraged to attend.
Students will have the chance to meet with economists from government organisations, private consultancy firms, universities and think tanks, including recent university graduates.
The event is being organised by the Women in Economics Network, with sponsorship support from PwC, in recognition of the need for young people to have visible role models to inspire and inform them about the breadth of career opportunities available to them.
Teachers, parents and school career counsellors are very welcome to attend. We ask that all participants please register beforehand for catering purposes.
