“Persistence, people and policy: Why some things are harder to change than others”
WEN has been formed to promote and support the career development of women in the economics profession in Australia.
This WEN event is an opportunity to connect with others in the economics profession, including women working in the private sector, government, academia and teaching.
Wendy Craik AM, one of Australia’s leading independent public policy advisors will be our special guest speaker. Wendy will share insights into developing policy responses to climate change and their implementation challenges. As with all WEN events, there will also be an opportunity to reflect on these issues from gender, diversity and equity perspectives
