Emily Macpherson

Bio

Emily is a Senior Associate in the Economics and Capital Markets team at the Future Fund, Australia's sovereign wealth fund. She previously covered Equity Strategy and ESG in the Equity Research team at J.P. Morgan. Emily's work included conducting research on gender equity, the pay gap and diversity in Australia, Asia Pacific and global listed companies. Emily has authored several large research reports, including The Pay Check, a detailed report on the gender pay gap within listed companies & economies. The report includes a deep-dive into corporate policies that can promote gender balance and reduce the pay gap. Emily previously worked at a boutique asset manager in Sydney and an ESG quant fund in London. Emily was awarded the J.P. Morgan 2022 Rising Star Award that recognises up-and-coming female talent at the company and she holds a BSc degree in Economics from the University of York in England.
