Adriana is an economist specialising in international trade and gender, at the Institute for International Trade (IIT), The University of Adelaide, where she is also providing support with research projects, business development and project management activities while conducting her Ph.D studies.
Adriana has over 18 years of demonstrated experience in economic research, consultancy services, project/program management, international development, and contract management. Adriana has worked with large corporate institutions, consulting firms, multilateral entities, government organisations, as well as academic institutions, offering an array of excellent skills in stakeholder management, data analysis, strategic financial planning, management and forecasting, governance, procurement, recruitment, contracting, risk management, quality assurance, business administration and reporting, and working simultaneously with a variety of projects and clients. As project/program manager, Adriana has supported program implementation in the Pacific, Mongolia, Indonesia, and Philippines. These programs are funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Adriana also has experience as teaching and research assistant (postgraduate level) and lecturer (undergraduate level) in microeconomics, macroeconomics, economic research, economic planning, and financial analysis.
