Patricia’s public policy experience has been forged operating within government, commercial and not for profit environments which has enhanced her skills in navigating the complex interface between public policy, industry and the community.
As an investment consultant, Patricia led Mercer’s global government funds consulting practice and has advised highly sophisticated asset owners including Future Fund of Australia, New Zealand Superannuation and State Super.
Patricia is a recognized champion for greater equality in relation to retirement incomes and superannuation policies and has been influential in achieving legislative change that improved outcomes for many Australians.
Patricia was senior economic adviser for government inquiries into national savings, review into financial services and has held senior roles at the Commonwealth Treasury and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
She has also applied her organisational strategy and public policy capabilities within highly complex corporate settings in senior strategic roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Australian Securities Exchange to drive improved economic outcomes and prosperity.
