Dr Emmanuelle Walkowiak VC's senior research fellow of RMIT. She analyses the impact of the digital transformation on new shapes of work and the evolution of the quality of working life. More specifically, she leads the FLOW-GenAI initiative (Future of Labour, Organisation and Work with Generative AI). Her research contributes to understand how the rapid diffusion of technologies is disrupting work, workers, workplaces, the labour market and employment policies. In this period of digital acceleration, businesses and policy makers struggle with the changing nature of work and their workplace models. She provides evidence-based analysis to adapt employment policies and organisational practices to make them fit for a productive, inclusive and sustainable Future of Work. Her research also analyses technology driven inclusion at work, focusing on neuroinclusion. She evaluated efficiency of labour market policies such as short-time work programme (JobKeeper in Australia).
